AICP Identity

The AICP, part of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama^ah, adheres to the creed of the Ash^ariyys and the school of Imam ash-Shafi^iyy. - The AICP is the "Resounding Voice of Moderation." This is the platform upon which we stand firm.
- The AICP speaks and writes against those extremist groups who sponsor violence, terrorism, and the call for assassinations of government officials because they rule by secular law. These are foreign ideas contrary to the true teachings of Islam. Islam is the Religion of Moderation, and "Moderation" is the motto of the AICP
Attendees
- The attendees of the AICP are quite diverse. They vary in national origin, ethnicity, education, social status, economic status, age, and gender. Our organization attracts people from virtually every walk of life.
- AICP attendees range from the highly educated—with various degrees and doctorates—to the lay people. Our attendees include executives, middle management, white and blue collar workers, doctors, dentists, educators, students, shopkeepers, artisans, and farmers.

Biography of Shaykh Al-Harariyy:
He is the great ^alim (Islamic scholar), an example of the ^ulama' (Islamic scholars), Al-'Imam, Al-Muhaddith, the pious worshipper, Ash-Shaykh Abu ^Abdir-Rahman, ^Abdullah Ibn Muhammad Ibn Yusuf, Al-Harariyy, Ash-Shaybiyy, Al-^Abdariyy, the Mufti of As-Sumal (Somalia). He is Al-Harariyy because he is from the city of Harar. In 1887, As-Sumal was occupied and divided into five parts and the western province (Harar) was given to Al-Habashah (Ethiopia). He is ash-Shaybiyy because Banu Shaybah is a clan of Quraysh and they are the people in charge of Al-Ka^bah. He is Al-^Abdariyy because he also belongs to ^Abdud-Dar, a clan of Qusayy Ibn Kilab, the fourth grandfather of Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam.
AICP Accomplishments
The AICP strives to teach Islam as well as the importance of functioning within society. Through its many endeavors, the AICP contributes to the well-being of humanity without compromising the values and principles of Islam.
The AICP sponsors secular and religious education. We have preschools, elementary schools, secondary schools, as well as weekend programs used as a springboard to full-time education. We have also set a goal to enter the university level within the near future.
The AICP offers Religious education through public and private lessons.
The AICP. has an internationally circulated magazine and authors and disseminates various books, pamphlets, and other publications through its Islamic Studies and Research Division (I. S. R. D.), دار المشاريع للطباعة والنشر والتوزيع
The AICP is active on the Internet (http://www.aicp.org) and is considered an authority on genuine Islamic information.
The AICP has various broadcasting stations transmitting the teachings of Islam, madih (Islamic praises), and pertinent information including the advertising of upcoming AICP events.
The AICP sponsors events celebrating the Islamic occasions and holidays, bringing the practice of the Religion to the minds of the people.
The AICP offers summer youth activities, including educational camps and Sports Teams.
The AICP takes part in conferences and has been internationally invited as guest speakers in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, India, and Africa.
The AICP sponsors scouting programs for boys and girls; social programs and craft programs for women, including luncheons and fashion shows; as well as planning and executing various conferences.
The AICP has been involved in teaching inmates of correctional institutions at the state and federal penitentiaries throughout the United States. These contributions and benefits have been commended by the Muslim inmates as well as the institutions’ officials.
AICP Objectives

The AICP was established to implement the teachings of Islam as per the guidance of the Qur’an. - The belief and practice of the AICP worldwide is that of Ahlus-Sunnah wal-Jama^ah, those who adhere to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam.

The most important objective of the AICP is to spread the correct knowledge of the Religion—teaching Muslims and non-Muslims about Islam—by spreading the Islamic Obligatory Knowledge and supporting it with clear evidence.

The Messenger of Allah, sallallahu ^alayhi wa sallam, said: which means: "The best of the deeds is the belief in Allah and His Messenger." (al-Bukhariyy) In accordance with this, the A. I. C. P. emphasizes teaching Tawhid, the Islamic knowledge by which one would know what is and what is not proper to attribute to Allah and His Messenger.
